Membrane Type Air Dryers
Atlas Copco SD membrane dryers bring together the best and most robust components on the market, extending the lifespan of equipment even in the most challenging and harsh working conditions by providing clean and dry air. They eliminate moisture, oil, and particles from compressed air while ensuring the integrity of your final product. Atlas Copco SD membrane dryers achieve the highest efficiency with the lowest pressure and purge air loss, saving you time and costs.
The general working principle of membrane dryers is simple. The moisture content in compressed air is separated from the air using membrane technology. Moist compressed air enters the hollow fibers. Water vapor passes through the fiber wall and enters the space between the fibers. About 10-15% of the dry air enters the space between the fibers through the purge nozzle, carrying away the moist air through the purge outlet to the atmosphere.
SD dryers operate with high performance in a wide range of environments, from small spaces to applications requiring flexible connections, high-vibration areas, and extremely variable temperatures. They meet strict safety and environmental protection requirements, including small-volume environments, areas without electrical power, explosion-resistant facilities, and areas sensitive to noise and corrosion. They do not require electricity.
SD dryers can operate in a variety of challenging and critical conditions, ranging from small spaces to large environments with variable temperatures. There are two models available to provide the air conditioning method you need.
